When Alexandra finally married her childhood crush at the age of 25, she didn't expect that she would one day catch another woman in the arms of her husband while she hid in the bedroom closet. “Let’s go,” Caleb demanded as he grabbed Alexandra by her wrist without a warning, pulling her away from the chaos and out of the ballroom in a matter of seconds while both Ethan and Hannah watched them leave with a smug smile on their faces.

“Why are we the ones leaving?” Alexandra questioned, yanking her wrist out of his grasp as soon as they were out of their sight, just the two of them hidden behind a wall somewhere. 

Caleb let out a deep breath. “I have my reasons, Al. Trust me.”

“Well, they can’t just -”

“Hey, hey listen.”

He was now looking down at her with both hands on her shoulders as she had her back pushed up against the wall, their faces only a few inches apart. “What?” 

A smirk etched itself onto his face. “I promise they will regret everything they had said earlier.”

“How so?”

“You’ll find out soon.”

Elisha was at a loss for words. Her jaw dropped to the floor as everyone's words echoed in her head, haunting her, and mocking her. She didn't expect this, she was flustered, her eyes darting around anxiously while a smirk morphed itself onto Alexandra's lips.

Alexandra walked over to the middle-aged lady holding up her phone and slung her arm around her shoulders casually. Looking down at the lady with a grin, she spoke, "Thank you, Ma'am. That is so very kind of you."

Elisha had officially lost it right now. Anger was now pulsing through every single vein in her body right now as more comments sprung up from the crowd. She was visibly shaking with anger, her voice trembling as she sneered. "Everyone here is fucking blind. And what is your grainy ass video going to show?"
