"I'm not doing it," she retorted with a slight edge to her tone. "I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't steal her god damn bracelet!" Alexandra screamed, her voice remaining unwavering as she clutched onto her shirt, her heart racing inside her chest as she eyed the officer cautiously.
A low dangerous whisper escaped from the officer's lips as her eyes narrowed into thin slits.
"Don't make me take it off for you. Just obey the instructions and I will let you out of here when we are done. It's as simple as that," the officer responded, not budging at all as she took another step closer, cornering Alexandra.
With her palms pressed against the counter top behind her, Alexandra bit her lip as she fought back the urge to simply lash out against the officer. She knew she couldn't do much or cause that kind of trouble. She sucked in a deep breath.
"Or what?" She simply challenged.
