Blame The Victim

"Step back," said Qi Yuze to Liu Xinyu who was staring at him like he was her whole world. He had to say, her eyes were quite deceiving because every time, he'd be willing to lose himself in the abyss of those dark orbs that stared at him with such attention.

"Oh," responded Liu Xinyu as she stepped back and watched as he handsomely got off the bike. Placing the helmet on the bike, he swept his thick hair that fell over his eyebrows back and stood tall in front of her.

Liu Xinyu saw his tall figure shielding her and was momentarily dazed. His shadow fell on her and covered her up completely as if enveloping her in his secure embrace. Liu Xinyu smiled to herself, and unknown emotions swirled in her eyes.

"May I ask why are you making a scene here, Young Master Zhu?"

Although Qi Yuze asked the question calmly, it pressed down heavily on Zhu Laike who was stunned and a little scared by the turn of events.
