His mother nodded, her form already beginning to fade. "Trust in your roots, but don't fear to spread your wings. The path ahead is long, but you are never truly alone."

As she disappeared, the wind died down, leaving Bayo alone with his thoughts. The eagle, which had been circling overhead, landed beside him, its eyes reflecting an intelligence beyond that of a mere bird.

Bayo stood, his resolve strengthened. "Mo ti gba," (I understand) he said, addressing both the eagle and the mountain itself. "I understand now."

With newfound determination, Bayo approached the cave. Instead of entering, he placed his hand on the rocky surface, feeling the pulse of ancient magic thrumming beneath. Closing his eyes, he began to chant, drawing upon the knowledge passed down through generations of his people.
