Yet, as exhaustion threatened to overtake him, Bayo clung to a sliver of hope. He had seen the wolverine—proof that his quest wasn't in vain. With each step, each ragged breath, he silently vowed to find a way to bridge the gap between them, to unlock the secret of this final trial.

As Bayo's ancient self opened his mouth to speak, Aroni materialized from the mist, his silvered hair gleaming in the ethereal light. "Enough for today, ọmọ mi," (my child) he declared, his voice carrying the weight of ages. With a wave of his gnarled hand, Aroni plucked a leaf from thin air, its surface shimmering with an otherworldly energy.
