Torture

Kenako's POV

I woke up before Jon did and looked around. I crawled over to my brother and shook him. "Jon. Jon, wake up!" I said my voice slowly getting louder as I kept shaking him.

Jon groaned and sat up. "Where are we?"

I blanched. "You mean you don't know?"

Jon glanced at me and winced. "Sorry, Ken. I don't."

Panic slid through me. "If you don't know then Mom and Dad won't! And we'll be stuck here forever!"

Jon twisted and grabbed me in a tight hug. "Shh, Ken. It will be fine. Mom and Dad have too many friends. They'll find us. And in the meantime, I'll keep you safe. I promise."

I dug my head into his shoulder. I was never going to be a good Ninja. I was too scared of stuff. I shut my eyes and fell asleep.

Jonathan's POV

I let out the breath I'd been holding in relief when I felt my brother fall asleep. I wasn't good at comforting people. Mom and Dad were always there to calm Ken down when he started panicking or had nightmares. The cell door opened and Adder came in. Ken jerked awake and scrambled behind me. I stood up so I could protect him better. But Adder just smirked. "Such bravery from such a small little kid," he said. His eyes flicked behind me.

"Leave my brother alone," I growled warningly. Soon I'll have another sibling to worry about. I just hope I'll be able to protect that one too. But right now, I just need to focus on protecting Ken.

He laughed. "You aren't in a position to tell me what to do, brat. But I admire your bravery. So I'll take your brother first. Then you." He shoved me out of the way and grabbed Ken. I jumped on him but he just flung me harder into the wall. My head hit the wall with a crack!

I heard Ken yell, "Jon!" before everything went dark.

Kenako's POV

"Let me go. Let me go!" I screamed kicking and punching. But he just twisted my arms behind my back and threw me over his shoulder. Then he tied me down on a table and I swallowed hard when I saw all the knives and hammers. "W-what are y-you going to d-do to m-me," I stammered fearfully.

He smiled. "Ah, I don't have to do anything to make you fear me. If only your mother was like that." And he slammed a knife into my shoulder. I screamed and he started laughing. He left it there and grabbed a hammer. I felt my eyes widen at how big it was. He brought it down on my knee and I screamed again. He studied me for a minute then picked up some kind of powder and flung it at my eyes.

I screamed and withered as whatever that was burnt my eyes. He punched me in the stomach and the air whooshed out of me. Then I felt him stab me repeatedly and soon I could feel nothing.

Y/n's POV

I froze when I saw where Sarah had led us. I swallowed hard. "Are you sure that's where the boys are?" I whispered.

She looked at me. "Yes."

I glanced at Lloyd and saw he was pissed. She had led us to the place where I had died. "Lloyd," I said softly.

He looked at me. "I'm going to kill him."

I crawled over to him and hugged him tightly. "Lloyd, you can't."

"Watched me," he growled.

"Lloyd," I said desperately. "You don't want the boys to see you do that, do you?"

He flinched. "No."

"And I don't want you to be a killer," I added. "Please. If anyone has to deal with Adder, it should be me."

His eyes snapped to mine. "Are you serious? You're afraid of him."

"I was afraid of Liam too and I did just fine."

"Guys, now is not the time to argue with each other," other Lloyd said sharply. "You two can fight all you want after we save your sons."

I took a deep breath. "You're right." I glanced at my Lloyd. "And we will discuss this later. Right now, we're just going to save the boys and leave Adder alone."

"Fine," Lloyd bit out.

"Fine," I snapped back.

Other Lloyd sighed. "Why do I have a feeling that you two are going to have a huge fight and then not talk to each other for days."

I couldn't help it. I smiled. "You know us so well."

He snorted. "I better. I've been the one you talk to when you fight with each other."

I sighed. "Let's go." Other Lloyd and I led the way to the cells because we were had been here before. When we got to the dungeon area we started peeking in every cell. That's when I heard crying and I knew my sons well enough to know who it was. I followed it to the very same cell other Lloyd and I had been in. But what I saw made me stop dead in my tracks. Jon was holding Ken but Ken was beaten badly. Jon had blood in his hair and a few bruises. "Jon, Ken," I cried and picked the lock. Faster than I have ever picked a lock before.

"Mom," Jon said. "I tried. I tried to protect him."

I gently took Ken in my arms. Then wrapped my other arm around Jon's shoulders. "Shh," I said softly. "Lloyd! Guys, down here!" I called. My husband was the first one there and his eyes flashed with rage when he saw how badly Ken was hurt. "Lloyd, take Jon," I told him.

Lloyd nodded and picked up our weeping six-year-old. "Shh, it's okay. We're here now," Lloyd said trying to calm Jon down.

Other Lloyd and the other stood in front of the cell. Now there was anger in other Lloyd's eyes. "Don't start," I warned him. I used my power to heal Ken. However, my power couldn't heal his eyes. Panic slid through me. "Jon, what did Adder do to his eyes?"

"I-I don't k-know. I wasn't there! And Ken hasn't woken up!" Jon wailed.

Lloyd stood and rocked Jon gently. Jon buried his head against Lloyd's shoulder. "We should go. Before Adder notices we're here."

"He's not even in the building," Hydra said. "I think he believed Y/n would never come back here so he thought it was safe to leave the boys here and just come back to hurt them. Which is a pretty good plan if you think about it."

I glared at her. "You aren't helping," I snapped.

She shrugged. "I'm just saying what you were thinking."

"I wasn't thinking that! I'm trying to figure out how to heal my son's eyes."

Lloyd adjusted his grip on Jon and put a hand on the shoulder that wasn't holding a lizard. "Y/n, we should go before he comes back. We'll figure out how to fix Ken's eyes at home."

I nodded and stood up. When we got out of the building the Ninja made their elemental dragons and the rest of us climbed on then we flew home.
