Little Wulf

Once upon a time in the dark and twisted forests of the realm of Vorthrak, there lived a small, green goblin named Wulf. Wulf was unlike any other goblin in his clan. While most goblins were fierce and aggressive, Wulf was known for his gentle and caring nature. He had big, round eyes that sparkled with curiosity, and a wide that never seemed to leave his face.

Wulf lived in a small cave at the edge of the goblin village, where he spent his days t to his meager of vegetables and playing with his pet rat, Goblin-Thun. Thun was Wulf's best friend and his only friend. The two of them had been inseparable since Wulf had found the little rat abandoned in the forest, barely alive.

Despite his small stature, Wulf was surprisingly strong. He spent his days chopping wood and carrying water for the other goblins, who never failed to mock him for his kind-hearted nature. But Wulf didn't mind. He knew that deep down, they all secretly admired him for his strength and courage.

One day, a group of adventurers arrived in the village, seeking shelter for the night. The goblins were wary of the strangers, but Wulf was curious. He approached the adventurers with a friendly smile, offering them some of his precious vegetables and a place to rest by his fire.

The adventurers were taken aback by Wulf's kindness. They had never encountered a goblin like him before. They told him that they were on a quest to slay a fearsome dragon that had been terrorizing the nearby villages, and asked if he knew of any way to reach the dragon's lair.

Wulf's eyes widened in shock. He had heard stories of the dragon, but he had never imagined that anyone would be brave enough to try and defeat it. The goblins around him laughed at the adventurers' foolishness, but Wulf saw something in their eyes that made him believe that they might just have a chance.

That night, as the village slept, Wulf snuck out of his cave and joined the adventurers on their quest. He knew that he would be risking his life, but he couldn't bear the thought of letting them face the dragon alone. Thun squeaked in protest, but Wulf reassured him that everything would be alright.

As they journeyed deeper into the forest, Wulf found himself growing more and more afraid. The sounds of the night seemed to be watching them, and the darkness seemed to be closing in around them. But he refused to let his fear overcome him. He had to be strong for his new friends.

Finally, they reached the dragon's lair. The massive beast lay asleep at the center of the cavern, its scales gleaming in the dim light. The adventurers drew their swords and prepared to attack, but Wulf held them back.

"Wait," he whispered. "I have a plan."

With Thun by his side, Wulf crept forward towards the dragon, who stirred awake at the sound of their approach. With all his might, Wulf let out a loud roar, startling the dragon and causing it to rear back in surprise.

As the dragon blinked in confusion, Wulf grabbed a nearby torch and tossed it into its mouth. The dragon roared in pain as the flames consumed it from the inside, sending it thrashing and flailing around the cavern. The adventurers cheered as the dragon finally collapsed, defeated.

As they made their way back to the village, Wulf couldn't stop grinning. He had faced his fears and emerged victorious. The other goblins in the village now looked at him with newfound respect, no longer mocking him for his gentle nature.

From that day on, Wulf was hailed as a hero in the village. The adventurers bid him farewell, promising to spread the tale of the kind-hearted goblin who had helped them defeat the dragon. Wulf returned to his cave, where Thun was waiting for him, squeaking happily.

As he settled down by the fire, Wulf knew that he had found his place in the world. He may have been small and green, but he was strong, silly, timid, cute, and above all, diligent. And that was more than enough to make him a legend in the realm of Vorthrak.
