Chapter 24: Worries About Megan

Once again, Jorah wasn’t tired when he woke up. He didn’t feel like he had missed out on any sleep, even though he’d played all night. According to his computer, he’d actually logged thirteen hours in the game last night. It felt like more, but one of the features of the game running in your dreams was that your brain could dilate time to a certain extent. It might seem like more time was passing in the game than actually was.

He wondered how that worked if you set everything to PvP or the more constant multiplayer options. Maybe they stretched time a specific amount.

It didn’t matter; he wasn’t planning on doing much in the realm of multiplayer. He liked contacting Aijin when he could, and wouldn’t be opposed to recruiting other players, but he wasn’t looking for them. If he came across them, that was another story.
