Megan left the meeting with Manager To-Soren with a bounce to her step and a new office to go to. It wasn’t much of an improvement from her old lab, except that it was, in fact, an office. She had a door she could close, there was only one computer station, and it wasn’t in the basement.
And when she started to work, she realized that her influence brought along with it better access to the systems. A few minutes after starting, she was already looking more in-depth at Connor Proclaw.
Proclaw was clearly not the mastermind. So then why did the belongings of the dead researcher go to him? It didn’t look like they had much in common or any real connection.
After a little bit of searching, she found something. It seemed that the belongings didn’t actually go to Proclaw himself, but rather to his office. He might not even have known about it. He knew about the missing files, though. So he had something to do with it all.
