He got to the local bus top to wait for his take off extremely excited with a grin apparent on his expression and decided to give Charlotte a call.
"Hello, Charlotte. Are you at home right now?" He said obviously excited.
"Ah, yes something really good happened to me, I just wanted to tell you about it."
"Yes."
He hung up the call as the bus arrived and hurried inside.

He arrived at charlotte's home, pressing the door bell and was greeted by her at her door step with a heartwarming smile.
"Welcome Glen."
They made their way into house to the sitting room and Glen sat plopped down on the cushion, grinning from ear to ear while Charlotte heads to the refrigerator to grab him a drink.
She handed him a cup of warm tea, perplexed at to what must've had him in a very good mood.
"Thank you." He said as he took the tea with both hands politely, placing it on his thigh.
Charlotte, with her drink in her hands sat down throwing one of her leg over the other, she took a sip of her drink before setting it on a nearby small stool with a clanking sound.
"What's got you so joyous today? You're starting to get me curious." She inquired with a curious smile cocking an eyebrow at him.
Deep breathe escaped his mouth, to calm his excited heart. "Charlotte, I finally confessed to Henry." He said smiling uncontrollably, it looked like he was about to jump up and rejoice any moment he had.
"What?" She responded quite incredulous.
"He acknowledged my feelings and we also slept together last night, oh yes he also gave me his-"
She blinked her eyes still in disbelief. "Hold up, is this some kind of sudden deliberate delusional behavior? Henry that I know does not even like guys."
"No, I'm not being delusional right now. It's for real." He said, his pupil fill with anxiety. "Why do you think I would lie about this? Remember I wanted to give up too."
Still extremely dubious she responded. "No matter how you say it, it's hard for me to believe, Henry likes women. Come on look up his cheating scandals, they're literally all women he's ever been with."
Glen's pupil dulled, he felt sad about the fact Charlotte doesn't think he's being honest about his relationship with Henry. It made him felt as though it had always meant to be an impossible thing.
"First of all, how did it even come to this? Surely there must've been something that led to you two being mingled with each other right?"
"Yes, we didn't just meet."
He explained how he overheard Willaims and Henry's conversation that drove him to led him to a club bar where he fortunately ended up alone with Henry.
Charlotte really sounded unhappy about his sudden fulfilled relationship with his seven year old crush.
"Glen, you mean to tell me that the same Henry who said he would never see a man like he see a woman, hooked up with you last night?"
"Yes, even I thought I was dreaming. Please believe me." He said with a droopy voice.
Suddenly Glen got a call on his phone, he looked at his screen and it was Henry calling him. A sudden gleam emerged on his face.
"It's not like I don't believe you Glen. I just need-"
"Charlotte, he's calling!"
He cut Charlotte off in her speech showing her Henry's name on his phone screen. His heart rate sprung up and he hesitated for a second before he picked up the call.
< What took you so long to answer?> Henry said in a sullen tone.
"Ah I was doing something, I'm sorry."
"Anytime! As long as it doesn't interfere with your schedule."
Charlotte was extremely puzzled hearing their phone conversation, she stood there in disdain unable to react to what she was seeing.
He soon was done with his short call with Henry and returned his gaze towards her with a beaming smile of fulfillment on his face. "I told you, I wasn't lying!"
Her pupils suddenly turned cold.
"Look, Henry is probably taking advantage of you I promise you that. Think about this, he is a scandalous guy, so why do you think he wants to try having something with a guy?"
"Huh? I don't believe that…" he responded with agitation evident in his response. He couldn't tell why Charlotte was suddenly opposed to his relationship with Henry.
"I won't say anything any further, but don't come crying to me later." She said and stumped away to her room obviously upset, but for what reason exactly?
Still unable to fathom her sudden change in attitude, Glen called out her name. "Charlotte!?" But got no response except for the sound of her footsteps trailing off to her room.
Why is she suddenly upset? Was I being too talkative?
He waited a bit for her to come back to the sitting room but she didn't come back. He instead decided to head to her room door with a knock and waited a few seconds but still got no response.
"Charlotte? Why are you suddenly getting upset at me?"
Silent sounded in the room for a few seconds.
"I'm sorry if I have done anything to hurt your feelings, I really am." He said again with a brooding tone but got no response regardless.
"I'm fine, I just want to rest right now." She abruptly responded, her voice sounding from the shut door.
What a relief. "Okay, I should head out now…I wouldn't want to bother you. Rest well then."
He said with a constrained forced smile and walked away despondently.
Charlotte stood up from her bed and approached her door leaning her head closer to it, she still could hear his footsteps trailing off in the distance as he left.
Her expression turned sad.
…I'm sorry Glen, I don't know why I can't feel happy for you right now…please forgive me…

As Glen exited the house, he opened the main door to unexpectedly see victor.
"Glen? What brings you here today?" Victor inquired suprisingly, all chummily.
With a constrained forced smile Glen responded. "I came to see Charlotte, It's been a while victor."
"Yea, you don't look quite alright, are you okay?
Victor asked quite concerned about his obvious lethargic expression.
"N-No, I'm good… I just feel quite sick. What brings you here today?"
"Ah no much reason, I was supposed to help charlotte study for a bit.
"Okay then, have fun." Glen said and strode off.

Striding to his work place he wondered what could happen now that would make him sad? The one and only thing he ever wished for have been fulfilled, he just didn't expect that his only friend who journeyed with him through his life didn't feel an ounce of happiness for him even though she had urged him to confess his feelings.
He only wished that she could at least cheer him up with an encouraging smile.
He halted in a daze staring into space when a familiar voice called out his name.
"Glen."
He looked up; it was unexpectedly Willaims, it seems he had been waiting for him to arrive at his work place.
"Senior Williams? What brings you here?"
With guilt In his eyes he responded. "I really wanted to see you, I want to apologize…"
"For what exactly?" Glen asked seeing that Williams felt as though he bore a brunt of pain from avoiding him like a plague for days now.
"I'm sorry…I've been avoiding you for no apparent reason."
"About that…I really wanted to know why you were avoiding me." Constrained with a forced smile. "It seems everyone have their own problems don't they?"
"No, I wanted to be sure about something…you said you liked someone didn't you?" He said his eyes full of hope since confirming from Henry, he thought that by now Glen should've realized how pointless his feeling for Henry were.
"Y-yes…I confessed last night."
Williams halted, his heart racing and his eyes filled with agitation. "You confessed?"
Glen cooed a wide smile of amusement. "Yes, he says he considered my feelings, and we are dating now."
"What?" Williams eyes widened extremely perplexed. "Henry considered your confession?"
Glen blinked giving him a puzzled look and responded. "How did you know it was Henry?"
Willaims realized that he may have been too obvious with his secret obsession with Glen's love life. Fuck me. "Henry is a very scandalous guy, I would advise you steer clear from him Glen."
"Why are you talking like this?" Glen asked still puzzled.
