The entire research and development team had dwindled down to just Vivian and Dylen continuing to work overtime. The moon outside was obscured by clouds, and the street lamps emitted a misty light.
After completing the last set of data, Vivian felt as if she had just finished a two-kilometer run, her whole body aching. Glancing at the time, it was already dawn.
"I never expected to work until now to finish the data. I've been keeping you here overtime. I'm really sorry."
She didn't talk much with Dylen, and during the testing hours, the two of them hardly exchanged words. However, there was an unexpected understanding between them. They didn't even need verbal instructions to anticipate what the other would do next.
The last time she could keep up with Vivian's pace was when she was at NHTSA-NCAP. This made Vivian curious about Dylen. "Where did you graduate from?"
Dylen looked deeply at Vivian, as if reminding her, "I did my undergraduate at Astontech University."
