Don't Admire Me too Much

The so-called research and development team now actually only consisted of a few people. Vivian couldn't guess Jerome's next move, but she thought maybe this time Jerome would really face a Waterloo. The decision to replace a group of researchers at this juncture was too risky. However, as things progressed to this point, Vivian inexplicably felt a sense of responsibility.

Carl was assigned to the same group as Vivian, responsible for the final confirmation of car safety. The two hastily convened a short meeting. Carl frowned as he looked over the plans. "The safety aspect in the early stages was entirely under the supervision of Len. We don't have access to the specific data. Otherwise, should I call Len now and ask for the complete data?"

Even as he spoke, Carl felt a bit hesitant. After all, Len had invested so much effort into this. It felt awkward to ask him for the data at the last moment.
