I'll Pursue Her for You

The story, in essence, isn't particularly extraordinary.

It revolves around Carl's father, who was a heavy drinker and prone to violence when intoxicated.

Carl was just a child when he bore the brunt of his father's abuse.

"I don't really have many memories of him," Carl remarked, "just flashes of him stumbling back home drunk every evening, the moments I hurriedly hid, and the sight of him wielding his belt to strike me."

In just a few words, the empathetic Samson's eyes welled up with tears.

Previously, he only pitied Carl for losing both parents, never realizing he had also suffered from domestic violence in his youth.

Observing Samson's emotions, Carl felt somewhat uneasy and playfully flicked Samson's forehead, "What are you doing, pitying me like that?"

Samson remained silent.

Carl submerged himself in the hot spring, remarking, "He got his comeuppance in the end, dying from his drinking habits."
