Iris's Scheme

Her mother had been trying to match them up, and even though Iris didn't care for Matthew Garcia, she knew that once their relationship deepened, he would undoubtedly start investigating her past. It was better to come clean now rather than be exposed later, which would not only eliminate future risks but also earn Matthew's trust. She needed his full attention on her to execute her plans.

Iris picked up her phone and made a call. After tidying up her appearance, she headed to the entrance of a large shopping mall. She had been tracking Chloe's movements for days and knew Chloe frequently visited this mall. Waiting for about ten minutes, she finally spotted Chloe. Directly approaching Ava would be too suspicious, but using Chloe as a go-between was a safe bet.

"Chloe, long time no see!" Iris exclaimed, running over with a look of surprise.
