Emma’s POV
"Emma? Emma! What's wrong?"
Hector asked anxiously as he held me.
I bit my lip and pushed him away, "It's nothing, just a sudden stomachache. Maybe I ate something bad. Seems like even the top clubs can't pass the hygiene test. Haha."
I endured the discomfort, laughed it off, and got back into the passenger seat.
I must be careful not to let Hector find out about my pregnancy.
Hector stood stiffly outside the car, staring at me without moving.
I urged him, "The window is broken, but the car isn't. Get in and drive me home!"
Only then did Hector get in the car, and after a moment of silence, he stepped on the gas.
As soon as I got home, I rushed out of the car without even saying goodbye. When I heard Hector's car engine fade into the distance, I couldn't hold back any longer and lay down on the sofa, not daring to move.
