Chapter 13 No Divorce Agreement Yet

Bonnie had married Ambrose in Mrs. Collins' hope of gaining some benefits from the Barron family's power and influence. Bonnie had worked hard, obediently doing whatever was asked of her, and Mrs. Collins didn't say anything about it.

But now that the divorce had finally come, Bonnie didn't even want a penny from him.

"You!" Mrs. Collins pointed at Bonnie with a furious expression on her face.

Bonnie waved her hand dismissively. "If there's nothing else, you can go back now. I still have work to do."

Ms. Collins wanted to lecture her some more, but Chris could see that Bonnie was in a bad mood, so he pulled his mother away.

Before leaving, Chris hesitated for a moment before saying, "You... just be happy."

Bonnie was taken aback by her younger brother's unexpected words.

Ambrose had been standing nearby, listening to the whole conversation.

When the Collins family left, he knocked on the door of the dressing room.
