Chapter 44 Farewell forever, Mr. Barron

Ambrose was used to dealing with people like Mr. Cruz, who talked big but had little to show for it. Without mercy, he pointed out, "You can't stop me."

Christian just gave him a cold glance and didn't say anything else. He turned around and followed Bonnie's figure.

Bonnie waited for Christian in front of the car and raised her eyebrows when she saw him, "What did you say to him?"

Christian pursed his lips and didn't answer. Bonnie didn't push him either. She just wanted to let off some steam.

Bonnie opened the car door and was about to get in when Ambrose grabbed her wrist.

This time, Bonnie didn't struggle like she did before. Instead, she lifted her high-heeled foot and stomped directly on Ambrose's shoe.

Ambrose winced in pain and loosened his grip on her hand. Bonnie easily broke free.

"Let's have a talk," Ambrose said, his hand resting on the open car door. He looked at her with a deep gaze.
