Chapter 29 Buying Appliances

With these movers, Nadia and Lionel Carter acted as conductors and began to call the shots.

"Move the bed in our bedroom down first, and Ada's bed, and go to the new house, we still have to sleep at night!"

"The sofa has to be removed too. There must be a place to sit in the living room to entertain guests."

"The refrigerator, TV, and washing machine have also been moved away. Although these appliances are a bit old, they are still usable."

……

Henry Blake stood aside, watching the movers remove pieces of furniture and appliances under the command of his father-in-law and mother-in-law, and the house suddenly became a little empty.

Where is this move?

It was simply a big sweep!

Lionel Carter and Nadia moved almost all the usable things in the house, and it seemed that they didn't intend to leave anything for Henry Blake and Amy Carter.
