Amy comforted her parents and asked them to take their seats, but they were still angry since their faces were dark, as if they wouldn't let go of Henry.

Henry said, "Amy, you can take a seat first. I want to go to the bathroom!"

Amy thought that her parents were both angry and that Henry had just been scolded, so he must be feeling uncomfortable. It was good to let him leave for a while to avoid embarrassment.
