"Thank you, Doc. Arias." She slowly turned her head and looked out of the window. The sun shone on her white and shiny side face, showing an inexplicable sadness.
Leo pondered and asked, "Ms. Jensen, no offense. But where is your family? Are your parents still alive?"
Cassie didn't know why he asked these questions, but she told him truthfully. "My family is from Philadelphia, and my mother died of dystocia when she gave birth to me."
"What about your father?"
"My dad died of cancer three years ago."
Seeing Cassie's lonely look, Leo immediately apologized, "I'm sorry, Ms. Jensen."
Cassie didn't feel offended. She shook her head. "It's nothing. But Doc. Arias, why did you ask these?"
Leo didn't tell the truth but smiled evasively. "Ms. Jensen, I think you are not a person with a mental disorder."
Cassie was stunned and subconsciously turned her head to look at him.
