Cassie was startled and quickly averted her gaze.
However, it was too late, as Archer had already caught a glimpse of a familiar look in her eyes.
His heart skipped a beat, and he couldn't help but think to himself, "This look..."
"Rylie," Archer suddenly spoke, approaching Cassie slowly, "Who is this young lady? I have never seen her by your side before."
Rylie's expression soured slightly. "Her name is Sara. She is Mr. White and my daughter. We only found her five months ago."
"Sara," Archer said her name softly.
Although it was a very common name, the way it was spoken by Archer carried a hint of coldness.
Archer finally stood in front of Cassie, looked down and said, "Sara, you look so much like someone I used to know."
Cassie took two steps back, summoning her courage, looked up, and smiled, "So, you must care about her a lot, right?"
"No." Archer denied. "On the contrary, I despise her."
