Chapter 10 Cut Ties

Soon, more than ten bodyguards walked in and gradually surrounded Sylvia.

Carlee shielded Sylvia behind her, her eyes growing a bit colder.

For so many years, she had been avoiding any conflict with the people in the Moore's house for the sake of her husband. However, today, since they went so far as to bully Sylvia, Carlee wouldn't put up with it.

Anyway, if the worst came to the worst, she'd leave the Moore's house with Sylvia and Braeden.

With this in mind, Carlee said coldly, "Sylvia, don't be afraid. I'm here!"

Sylvia noticed that Carlee knew some martial arts and raised her eyebrow in surprise. She wasn't afraid, though.

"Mom, they can't hurt me. Just watch from the side!"

After speaking, Sylvia walked straight out from behind Carlee. Although her appearance had not changed, her demeanor had become cold and bloodlust.

Sylvia's eyes scanned the bodyguards. Although she was smiling, her gaze carried a hint of malice.
