He looks at me with conflicted eyes and do my best puppy eyes in response, pushing my body to his as I tug on his arms.
I'll push it back an hour, but we can't do it any later.

He doesn't say anything back, but I see the smile in his eyes as he pulls me back to the White Hills pack.
He gathers a few men and women, including Council Representative Remer, and discusses a morning meeting at nine. When everyone agrees he moves onto the rest of the pack. And it is like a sea of white standing before us.

I watch in awe as he speaks, I've never really seen this side of him, only once today and I was to nervous to notice it. He commands the attention of others, not in the way stories described him. Not with malice or fear. But with respect and strength.
