CHAPTER 8

Mia move closer to the window to check the figure standing and she was surprised to see Alexander there.

"Sir, how did you get here and how did you know my house?" She asked shocked.

"Well I just want to see your face and that beautiful smile on your face" he said and dissapear.

As he disappear Mia began thinking she was imagining things.

"Why did I think of him to the extent I am seeing him around the house?" She asked herself then later shrug it off and sleep.

Alexander got to his mansion later and smile to himself.

"I am glad you are okay, seeing your face makes me comfortable now" he said and then he smile to himself and then laid on the bed and slept off.

Mia got to the mansion the next day and just then Alexander was just coming down getting prepared for work and as soon as Mia saw him she remembered what he said yesterday.

And then she later shrug it off and greeted him and he nodded.

"How is your dad now?"

"He is okay now sir"

"Thank God, I would like to meet him"

"Okay, no problem sir, that will be weekend"

"Oh sure" he said and left for work.

Mia also did her usual work.

Karen got to school and he went into class without talking to anyone and he sat as his usual seat.

Eliza and Damien got there later and saw him sitting and they greeted him but he answered unusually.

"What is wrong Karen, you sound unusual?" Damien asked.

"Nothing, I am fine"

"Karen I know you, what is wrong" he insisted and Karen looked at Eliza.

Damien understanding what he meant told Eliza to excuse them and she did.

"So what is it bro" he said tapping him lightly.

"Well it is just about Eliza, it hurt to hear her say she sees me just as a friend"

"Get off it bro, you don't expect to love you immediately, you just met her not quite long, all you have to do is to stay close to her, be kind and show her how much you care about her and from there she will start falling for you, that how it works"

"Thanks man"

"I gat you bro, you are worried for nothing" Damien said and Karen just sighed.

Just then the teacher came in and Eliza quickly rushed in and sat down on her seat.

"Eliza, why are you just coming into the class?"

"I am sorry sir, I went to the restroom" she said and sat down then the teacher began teaching.

Alexander got to the office and his secretary told him that the system has been restored to normal.

"Have you got any hacker yet?" He asked.

"Yes sir, I have gotten and he will be coming to the company today"

"Okay, when he comes let me know" he said and the secretary left.

After a while she came back to inform him that the hacker has arrived and he was led into his office.

"You can sit" he said and the young man sat down and Alexander explained everything to him and then took him to the control room of the company and he began his thing.

After few hours he was done and he let Alexander know.

They both went back into his office and Alexander collect his contact and they bid each other goodbye.

Alexander got home later in the evening and was really tired, Mia noticed this and help him off his shoes and also guide him to his room and she went back down to dish out his dinner.

After few minutes he came back downstairs and they both sat down and they began eating.

Alexander felt like he should tell her all that happened at the office lately and he told her.

"Wow thank God you stop it, just make sure you get the person behind this and there may be a spy in your company"

"Well, I don't think there is a spy in my company but I will be very careful from now on"

"Okay, that is good" she said and they both eat and they both bid each other goodbye.

WEEKEND

It was Saturday and Mia told her Dad and Karen that they need to go somewhere together and they asked her where but she said it is a surprise.

"Why can't you tell us?" Karen asked.

"As I have said it is a surprise and it doesn't need to be disclosed"

"Well then, I am not going"

"It is your loss then" she said and went to into her room to get dressed.

Their father went to dress up.

Karen himself reluctantly went to dress up also.

They were done in few minutes and they all got down.

Just then a car drove into their compound and Mia already know who it was then urge them to go out.

They all went out and they got into the car and the driver drove off.

After a while they got to Alexander's mansion and they and they all got down.

They got in and Mia told her father and Karen to sit and they did.

She then went up to Alexander's room to inform him they have arrived.

After a while Alexander came down also and Karen on seeing him became surprised.

"Wow, my role model" he said and went to hug him excitedly.

Alexander also hug him back.

"Wow boy, you are really handsome in person" Alexander said.

"Thanks, you are super cute, this is like a dream come true, thank sis" he said facing Mia.

Then he went to sit back.

Alexander approach their Dad and greeted him politely.

"Well done son, I heard you paid for my surgery, thanks for that and I am glad my daughter has great boss like you"

"It is my pleasure sir, I really like her also, she is hardworking and good at what she does" he said.

Then they all sat down and talk about some other things then Mia stood up to go and prepare something for them.

After few minutes Alexander also went to the kitchen and saw her struggling to take something while standing on the cabinet and she was about getting it when she trip and was about falling.

Alexander seeing this quickly rush to her to get her and he was able to save her but they both fell down with Mia lying on his body.

Karen and his father heard this loud thud and they rush to see what happened when they see them in that state.
