WELCOME TO DEEP DIVE, NED!
That was the words that first appeared in Ned's screen system when he was transported at the DREAM TOWN.
(Dream Town is one of the three neutral towns in the game that serves the players a safe haven for them to rest, buy goods, interact with NPCS, and etc)
Countless of players interacting with one another, other players are already forming a party while others are just looking for someone weak for them to bully or take advantage.

Everyone including Ned, hurriedly rushed over to the SLIME FOREST to hunt.
Slimes are known for being the beginner mob in any games. Everyone was thinking that the First Main Quest will be a walk in the park. But it's not.

Ned, the last one to arrive at the area noticed that everyone is having a hard time killing a slime. Slimes have a physical damage resistance. You can deal damage but it won't take a fatal blow.

Slimes has no discernible face, but rather collection of glowing orbs suspended within its translucent body.

Ned suddenly remembered a random video that he watched in Cheekbook. Ned gathered some dry leaves, bamboos and spindle he then chopped a notch near the base of the bamboo-section and he held it firmly on the ground and started to apply friction by rapidly rotating it against the notch section of the bamboo. The friction caused the bamboo to generate heat to produce an ember and Ned quickly transferred the ember into the pile of dry leaves that he gathered earlier. Ned applied a gently blow to make the fire bigger and more stable.
Ned heated his katana for five minutes.
He sliced a slime in half, dealing a fatal blow causing the slime to evaporate in heat. The slime dropped an item.

An item used for refining weapons or equipments with the same rank.

Ned gained an achievement.
FIRST SLIME HUNTER
The first user to kill a slime.

Ned easily killed 10 slimes in under a minute.

Everyone got their jaw dropped seeing how easy Ned killed those slimes.
Use fire to heat your weapon. Ned shouted and everyone copied his strategy resulting to everyone to complete the first main mission.
Who the hell is this guy?! Is he a beta-tester? Rumors from the crowd. As the crowd was wondering how did he managed to kill a single slime, Ned just smiled and waved at them then quickly ran to the opposite direction where there is less monster nearby.
Ned left the field to check for his loots and rewards and all of a sudden he was logged out in the game.
