*NO WORDS, NO FOOD*

"Milady." Someone called her and she lifted her head to see a familiar man. Long Black hair and deep brown eyes. Compared to her master, this man was smiling.

Strange.

"May I?." He brought forward his hand and Bethany stared at it for a second before putting her hand on it and he lifted her up and into the carriage.

"Stay safe." He flashed her a smile and walked away.

Now she remembered where she had met him. He was the one that divided her and her sister.

Was she meant to hate him also?.

No, it was because of him she was a slave and not her sister. She didn't know how she would live with herself knowing that her sister was a slave.

She was meant to thank him instead.

The carriage started and Bethany squeezed herself to the door just so that she wouldn't have to seat close to her master who looked outside the window calmly.

She expected him to at least ask for her name but all he did was stare outside the window continually.

Her stomach grumbled multiple times as she hadn't eaten in over two days and was meant to be given food today but missed it due to her being auctioned.

"Stop here." He ordered and the carriage came to a halt in front of a small Inn.

Happiness overflowed from Bethany's eyes as she stared at the small building. Maybe her master wasn't so bad after all.

He came down from the carriage and spoke to the coach man for a few minutes before coming to her side and opening the door.

"Out."

Only that simple word was able to jolt her awake as she quickly tried to jump off the carriage bit she must have forgotten that she still had chains as she immediately fell on the ground, spraining her ankle in the process.

Her master didn't say a thing and instead walked forward without regard for her condition.

A sudden feeling of hurt pinched her heart but she shook it away. She was used to this. People treating her like trash was normal, she was not to get affected.

She managed standing up and limped all the way to the building.

Upon entering, scents of various varieties of dishes hit her nose and she was almost salivating. At this point she didn't care what she ate, even leftovers would taste like heaven to her.

"Hello sir." The attendant beamed a smile when she saw the wealthy clothes that her customer wore but as soon as she saw Bethany, her face scrunched in disgust.

"I would like a private room for two." He informed and the attendant nodded repeatedly.

"Of course milord, follow me." She scurried to their front and lead them to a wooden door, giving a small iron key to him afterwards.

He collected the key and walked in without saying a word and Bethany quietly followed him in.

"Lock the door." He commanded and she did as she was told without any complaints.

"Look at me." He ordered and she lifted her hy, her eyes looking into his silver eyes that scared the hell out of her.

She didn't know why she felt that one wrong move now could lead to her death.

"Are you uncomfortable?." He asked, his eyes still maintaining their hypnotizing power.

She didn't answer.

She didn't want to answer. The host had said that she had a beautiful voice even she herself didn't know. Her master must have been trying to test if it was really true though she highly doubted that.

"You don't speak?." He questioned, his tone not hinting any type of emotion.

Still no answer.

"That's a pity, I was about planning to give you some food but since you didn't ask I'll have to eat it all alone." As soon as he finished his sentence, a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in."

Carts of food rolled into the room and soon the room was filled with the aroma of freshly cooked food.

Her master moved away from her and took a seat on the couch as the food was served to him. It was clear that he couldn't finish all that good but he didn't want to give her even one piece.

"Do you want to eat?." He asked her and she nodded her head but he only chuckled.

"No words, no food."

He continued eating but Bethany proved to be stubborn. If he wanted stubborn, he was going to get stubborn!

He finished eating and called the servants to take the leftovers which still filled the carts.

"You are one stubborn girl aren't you?." A mischievous glint sparkled in his eyes.

She didn't even listen to him and instead looked down at her feet. Now she had no idea which was more.

Her hate for the king or for this man.

They didn't stay in the inn for a second longer as they resumed their journey in the carriage. As expected, he left her alone and only stared outside the window.

Bethany didn't know when she fell asleep but was woken up by the sudden halt of the moving carriage.

She yawned a little, almost getting shocked by the change of scenery but was reminded that she wasn't at the cell anymore but the castle?.

The large black castle stood proud as lush green trees surrounded it, the place was beyond wide ad the beginning and end couldn't be seen, and colourful flowers decorated the short grasses which were almost hid from sight.

Confusion couldn't even describe her situation right now. Did her master live in the castle? Was he a grand duke? Or was he related to the king in some way?.

This time, she carefully stepped down and the pain on her ankle worsened but she made no noise. She couldn't afford to give up now.

"Milord." A person called out and Bethany looked up to see the same man that had helped her into the carriage. She felt a little at ease knowing that he was here.

"William, have you prepared what I had asked you to do?" Her master asked and William nodded, a smile following on his face immediately after

"How can I disobey my king." He laughed and turned to Bethany who looked like she had been drenched in cold water.

"K-king?."
