I transmigrated??

"Get away from me!" She screamed.

The tiny white creature only gazed at her and moved closer to her.

Rosalind ran towards the nearest window, sitting on the frame. Her heart was uneasy as she fought a rising panic. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead as the innocent creature inched closer to the crumbs of bread on the carpet.

"Don't come closer!" She yelled, gripping harder on the window frame.

It drew closer to the crumbs nearest to her feet, she felt her soul leave her body as it moved on its tiny legs.

Rosalind was about to let out another yell but suddenly her hand slipped. She lost her balance and fell backwards. It gradually hit her, she was at the last floor of the building and there was no way that she would survive the fall.

Her heart drummed faster knowing that the breath she took would be her last. Her head landed on the tarred floor with a loud bang. A thick red liquid seeped through her. Her eyes fixed on the dark lonely moon as she drew closer to death's embrace.

End Of Chapter.

"What!" I yelled furiously "Seriously? Why couldn't they end the chapter with Prince Cedric and Adeline's love story. Ugh! I hate it".

I threw my phone on the table whilst resting back on the couch staring at the ceiling.

'To think that the dummy would die just because of a 'mouse'. Her death was an idiotic one. Oh well, at least she will not be used and ridiculed any longer' I thought.

I kind of felt pity for her not because I understood her stupidity but… it felt like she really had no friends, the only people that really loved her were Her father and her brothers.

The villainess insulted her, used her and made fun of her, other noble ladies did the same while the heroine only kept mute and did nothing about it which pissed me off a bit and I understood why she did that, her powers were no match to the villainess and she could not face her one on one, she could only stand and watch Rosalind get humiliated.

"Atleast she is free from her misery!" I said out loud.

My eyes grew weary as I stared at the ceiling and slowly I dozed off to a deep, peaceful sleep.

* * * *

I tossed and turned on the bed, it felt like I was sleeping on a pool of clouds.

I moaned softly.

"Since when did my bed feel so soft?" I mumbled, a smile plastered on my lips.

It suddenly hit me. Bed! What bed? I can't remember sleeping on my bed last night.

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling a jolt of electricity surge through me.

Above me was a huge bright red bed frame designed with floral curtains on each angles, the upholstery seemed to originate from the Victorian times.

Abruptly, I sat up and looked around me, the entire room was different. It looked like I went back in time before technology was invented. I quickly got up and walked to the standing adorned mirror in the room.

I almost passed out when I saw my reflection. My ducky pajamas were gone and I was wearing a plain white gown and that was not the only thing different.

My dark brown hair suddenly became red hair. My bushy eyebrows were gone and instead they were arched and trimmed, my pale green eyes turned turquoise and my skin was ivory and felt smooth, it glowed like that of a model from a fashion magazine.

My face grew pale on realization, I transmigrated.

A knock on the door sent shivers down my spine.

"Lady Rosalind! Lady Rosalind! Have you woken up?" A female voice called out from the other side.

"Rosalind!" I said softly.

A gasp escaped from my lips as it dawned on me.

I transmigrated into the dummy of 'Twisted Fate' What! Of all people, why her?.

I let out a sigh, I will bother about that later. Now I had to reply to the lady at the door.

"Come in!" I spoke in my lady voice.

The door was pushed open and a lady in a maid's attire walked in.

"Good morning, My lady!" She greeted.

I simply nodded to her.

She walked towards my bed and began dressing it, straightening out the creases.

I approached her slowly, I needed to know more about this place, especially the year I was in.

"What year is it?" I asked.

The lady scoffed "What kind of question is that my lady? You are really the dummy they said you are!" She joked.

I felt like I was slapped on the face with her comment. How could a mere maid speak to her mistress like that?. Is this what Rosalind had to go through everyday of her life?. I need to teach this woman here some proper manners.

"What did you just say?" I asked feeling a surge of anger course through my veins.

"I said that…" she paused and looked at me, her face suddenly turned pale as she stared at me.

"M-My lady!" she stuttered, moving backwards. Her hands trembled as she walked.

I could feel an overwhelming power flow through me as I approached her, this feeling felt like nothing I have ever experienced, I felt invincible. It felt like a wave of flames emanated from every single pore on my body as I spoke to her.

"Who do you think you are to speak to me like that?" My voice resonated the entire room.

"I am sorry, M-My lady!" She said quickly.

"If I killed you this exact moment do you think that anyone would care. You are not even half the class I am and you think that you can talk down to me like that!" I yelled.

She hastenly got down on her knees, mumbling words of apology.

I approached her, looking down at her with disgust, just thinking of the way the real Rosalind felt listening to people calling her a 'dummy' made me sick to my stomach.

"Better get your act together, if you do not want to leave this room in ashes. Is that understood?" I asked in a dark, terrifying tone.

"Yes my lady!" She said quickly.

I let out a breath, the power I felt earlier slowly faded.

"Prepare my bath!" I ordered.

She gave a quick nod and scurried out of the room.

I suddenly felt light headed and slumped on the nearby chair.

What was that power I felt earlier? Could it be Rosalind's? But she was known to be the weakest, her power could only light up a candle. I have so many unanswered questions.

"Rosalind, if you are hearing me I need your help here!" I called out.
