Jasper POV

Archie was next of course he sat in front of Lia and smiled. Lia just placed her had on Archie's chest and hummed her song his soul was bubbly and purple. His soul wasn't as bouncy as Emmett's but it was swaying as it floated over to Edyth before returning back to Archie. Esme's soul was warm it had and amber golden hue that radiated love Edyth's soul was pink it reminded me of the blush of a humans cheeks when they are embarrassed, her soul radiated kindness. Last but not least was Rosalie she sat in front of Cordelia and waited her soul came out and it was red and looked fierce but I could sense love, devotion, anger, and small amounts of joy her soul also had a large crack through it that had streaks of green similar to Emmett's soul working to fill the space.

Lia gasped at the sight and Rose looked close to tears. Emmett sped to his mate and sat behind her for support while I placed my hands on Lia's shoulders. Rosalie took a shaky breath and said, "Why does mine look so broken and why is there green in it?" 

Lia took in a slow breath while still holding Rose's soul and said, "You have gone through something traumatic haven't you?" Not waiting for and answer she continued "Your soul almost died but because you are a vampire or became one shortly after the break you are still alive and the green that you see filling in the space is Emmett's soul trying to fix the damage that your has suffered. It is a subconscious action on his part but his soul recognized the need to fix his mate soul to help you be safe and happy. You have two options going forward one you can continue on the way you have been with Emmett healing your soul slowly, or I could try to help speed the process along and help you heal at an accelerated rate. It will not heal you fully but I can help you in feeling less pain in the long run."

Rose was silent for a few moments in thought but before she could speak up Emmett with a serious look on his face for the first time in over thirty years said, "Please heal my mate. I am happy to know that I am helping her heal but I want her to be able to be happy with herself. If you can help with that I will be forever thankful Rosalie is my world and I want to see her happy." 

I could feel his sincerity so I shared his feeling with Lia. It didn't take long for her to nod and say, "I will help if Rosalie is willing it is her soul after all." Rose smiled softly at that and said, "I would like to ask for help as well not only for myself but for Emmett as well. I know it pains him to see me hurting or upset and now that he has seen my soul's state he won't stop worrying until it's better."

Lia nodded and said, "This shouldn't hurt you, but I also want to say I have never done this myself and have only seen our healers do this." Rose and Emmett nod as Emmett straightens his back and sit behind Rose again allowing her to lean on him for support.

Before she starts anything else Lia looks at me and says, "Jaz I am going to need to have you help hold me up I can't lose concentration and this is going to sap a lot of my energy. I wouldn't be surprised if I pass out after it's done. Just know that I won't be in any danger you will know that I am ok through the pearl. I am telling you this so you can remain calm and help me maintain mine and Rosalie's safety through this. Just focus on your pearl and it will help you keep me safe." 

If I wasn't worried before this I am now I look into her eyes and see the resolution to help Rose and sigh in resignation and move to sit behind her just like Emmett has for Rosalie. I look to the rest of my family and see that they have moved to the edge of the room just outside of the living room lining the walls of the dining room, still able to see but out of the way incase something goes wrong. Emmett and I lock gazes and we nod knowing that we won't be able to act rationally if something happens to our mates. With determination to see our mates safe we nod at each other as Lia takes in a deep breath and begins to sing.

Lia sang words that weren't anything I have ever heard before It was beautiful and peaceful Rose's soul shone as the green from Emmett's soul moved lower into the crack, just as Lia's soul essence floated from her chest and merged with Rose's. Where Emmett's soul essence was Rose's soul began to meld together turning red with green swirls. This left Lia's blue essence to fill the shrinking crack that was a hands length and is now more the size of half a fingers length. This caused the scowl that was usually always on Rose's face to relax and a soft smile to grace her marble like face a smile we rarely if ever get to see. Emmett relaxes at Rose's comfort and I tense because I can feel Lia's energy drop drastically as she comes to the end of her song I start to worry and grip her hips with my hands and push on her back with my chest for added support. I feel her body sag against mine and look at he pleadingly to stop and to my relief she does. Rose's soul shines softly but floats lazily back to Rose and settles back into her chest. 

Lia looks up at me her body fully resting in my arms and smiles and as if whispering to my mind says, "I'm so glad I could at least help with this much for now." I kiss her head and say, "I love how sweet you are but rest now love and we can talk more when you wake up." Lia smiles as her eyes close and her breath evens out. 

Carlisle walks up to me and says, "Why don't you take Lia up to your room to rest and then you can come back down when she is up to it. We can hold back our curiosity until she is feeling better."

Emmett looks at Lia and smiles softly with gratitude in his eyes and then looks to Rose. Rose reaches a hand out to grasp Lia's hand she squeezes lightly and lets go, as unshed tears that will never fall gather in her eyes. I do what my family suggests and get up with my mate in my arms and head to my room.
