Small Fortunate Star: Rebirth In The 1980s

Fu Bao, despite having only recently reached her full moon and having limited spiritual power, resolved to help her Li family overcome their financial woes. With determination in her heart, she prepared to utilize her powers to bring fortune to her beloved grandma, Mrs. Li. 


At night, nestled in her cradle, Fu Bao eagerly awaited Mrs. Li's presence, intending to bestow upon her grandmother a blessing of good luck. 


Finally, a faint movement stirred outside, and Fu Bao's eyes lit up as she saw the curtain being lifted. Mrs. Li's hushed voice called for Li Chengyuan, signaling a late-night rendezvous. 


Li Chengyuan and Lin Yanfen, both troubled by the loss of their money and the incomplete celebration for Fu Bao, responded to Mrs. Li's summons with a mix of anticipation and curiosity. 


Mrs. Li whispered her plan: to collect snails by the river under the cover of darkness, hoping to sell them in town the next day for some much-needed funds. Li Chengyuan readily agreed, suggesting they aim for loaches and eels as well. 


Fu Bao, unable to contain her excitement, let out a babble, drawing Mrs. Li's immediate attention. She scooped up Fu Bao, her heart melting at the sight of her granddaughter's adorable gaze. 


After confirming Fu Bao's well-being, Mrs. Li handed her over to Lin Yanfen, instructing her to feed the hungry baby. Fu Bao, in a feeble yet determined manner, reached out to grasp Mrs. Li's finger, invoking a warmth that filled Mrs. Li's heart. 


Moved by the tender moment, Mrs. Li bid Fu Bao farewell and entrusted her care to Lin Yanfen, assuring her daughter-in-law of their safe return by morning. 


Li Xiaojun and Li Xiaoli, awakened by the commotion, eagerly joined their parents and grandmother, excited at the prospect of collecting snails and contributing to Fu Bao's celebration. 


With determination and hope in their hearts, the Li family set out into the night, ready to seize the opportunity to gather snails and secure a brighter future for Fu Bao's full moon celebration.
