The story begins with a young man named Novius. He is known very well across the nine nations from all the archery competitions he won over the past few years.
One day, he had just won a competition and now was greeting his fans when a cloaked person pushed through the crowd. The cloaked person told him that his parents were gone. Before he could react, the cloaked person put a sapling against his chest and the sapling stole his powers.
He wakes up in a wide field and recognises it as his front yard. He rushes into his house and realizes his parents went missing.
Now he is on a journey to regain his powers and find his parents

"And how do we know we can trust you??" Aine asked with uncertainty. "Ask your friend Novius yourself. I'm a friend of his" The woman said. "You didn't even tell us your name." Lorsan said. "My name is Rychell. I am a serpent-human hybrid" Rychell said. "Hybrid??" Lorsan exclaimed, confused. "I thought Hybrids were only found in Cullodran" Aine said. "I am from Cullodran" Rychell replied. "Then what are you doing all the way out in Aexetan?" Lorsan asked. "I was exploring and got caught in Aexetan. I managed to fake my escape. The King thinks I escaped so he never bothered to get me to sign the contract." Rychell said. "Why didn't you escape for real?" Aine asked. "I felt bad for all the tourists stuck here.. so I decided to help people escape" Rychell said. "That's nice" Lorsan said.
