Chapter 143: Never mention that again !

Alyssa was walking along the gardens looking up for some other work to do when she saw Calcel. It was now after having lunch that Calcel came outside to do some work while he enjoyed the fresh air outside.

' He works even during the weekend ? ' Alyssa questioned as she walked past him.

Calcel suddenly saw her and called.

" Marvis...." Alyssa stopped immediately on hearing his voice.

She turned around and put a fake smile.

" Sir..Calcel..." She said still standing in her spot.

" I am calling you. Come here ! " He commanded in his old cold tone.

Alyssa swallowed hard and then went to him.

When she reached there he got up and crossed his arms before his chest.

" What are you doing here ? " He asked.

" You called me Sir. " She said which was true but then it was not what he was meaning.

" It seems like you love jokes."

" No sir. "

" What are you doing in this Mansion ? " He decided to be direct.

" I am having refuge. Just for a while. " She answered.
