Miko Milk Blessing (Part 2)

Forget about that, I have to complete my mother's will. I immediately wore my mother's watch and prepared to go on a long journey.

These small footsteps took my body to leave the shabby house located on the village border. The distance between the village and my destination was half a day's journey on foot. It wasn't a short distance, especially with small follies like traveling without a supply of food and drink. I was quite stupid and regretted it halfway. However, the feeling of regret was paid off by the sight of the large gate. The guard on duty did his job well and I entered without any obstacles. Luckily, this body has identification in the form of an adventurer card with an E-class rating. In this story, Shouma Hirohito Vi Guderian was a freelance adventurer before joining the Shirayuki family. This gave me a pretty good start, think of it as initial capital for a long journey.

There is one thing that is bothering me, why does the royal capital have a large circular wall? It has become a standard procedure often used by video game and animation developers. Putting aside the history, there are too many gaps for a wall made circular like this. Especially regarding public routes which will be closed if the capital experiences an emergency.

I can clearly remember an Emergency Event regarding a Void attack that appeared suddenly and that happened on the day I died. The thought of the day I die becomes a death flag for myself, a Deathflag that keeps popping up and I have to break it.

I live for the second time and just die? Don't get your hopes up about that!

To break the death flag, I thought of several plans and strategies that supported my needs. Stealth is my main focus and is a big key to building a strong character without hunting for raw materials. Targeting the main Boss of the dungeon and killing it without being detected will give you more experience and raw materials than killing small monsters repeatedly.

My goal became clearer now which was to outlive my death scenario and enjoy the sight of the heroine's body filled with my love!

My trip felt very short because my head was running around thinking about the heroine of this world and my character development was focused on stealth. Until tired little feet climbed the stairs which were quite long to reach the main gate of the Shirayuki family.

The day had reached its breaking point, fatigue and heat had filled my body. Ordinary people would probably faint with this kind of exhaustion. However, this body has extraordinary endurance. My breathing felt quite heavy and my kidneys and stomach ached from hunger. Climbing the stairs on a hot day felt like running an intermediate marathon, a perfect training target to increase my stamina.

This leg continues to move until it reaches its peak point. A view of a red wooden gate adorned my view. Several girls wearing Shrine Maiden outfits were seen lining up as if protecting the entrance. I controlled my heavy breathing to calm down and stepped closer to them.

"Umm... Excuse me... Is this the Shirayuki family residence?" I said in a tired tone.

Seeing my suspicious condition, several girls took out arrows and pulled the bowstring that locked my head. I also heard a small splash between hard metal and a hard object aimed at my neck.

Greeted by a sword aimed at my neck and an arrow preparing to shoot at my head. Isn't this a very warm welcome to a foreigner?

I raised both hands in surrender and pressed the blade of the sword against my neck for assurance of safety.

"Uhmm... I-I just wanted to deliver a letter from someone before death took her."

Seeing my calm movements, they looked at each other and lowered their weapons. Following their movement to regain composure, I immediately handed over the will written by my mother. They looked at the form of the letter carefully and then rushed to divide the tasks. I just smiled and went back down the stairs.

Why am I going down the stairs? Because in this story, it took them a full day to confirm my identity. I'll die of boredom if I wait at the gate. On my way down the stairs, I saw a girl carrying a katana at her waist in a long-sleeved Shrine Maiden outfit and her graceful body shape was like a flower blooming on the battlefield. Long black hair and brown eyes remind me of my late mother.

That heart-shaking appearance made me remember her identity as my mother's first sibling. If this story goes like the beginning, currently, she is carrying out her duties as deputy head of the Shirayuki family. Due to her outstanding abilities in battle, she had free time to train freely and the management of the Shirayuki family was controlled by my mother's second sister.

As we walked and passed each other. I could feel the pressure of her overwhelming magic power and the smell of sweat that made me smile gave a friendly smile. She returned my small smile with a polite nod without uttering a word of greeting.

Our footsteps were very different, when I tried to get away from the Shirayuki family's gate, she had disappeared and was chatting with the girls guarding the Shirayuki family's entrance.

Small conversations could be heard from afar.

"Who's he?" asked the girl.

"We don't know who he is, Yukine-sama. He visited this place to deliver a letter containing the seal of the head of the Shirayuki family," replied the guard girl.

Hearing their conversation made me feel like a mysterious figure who appeared once a year. Sooner or later, they will find out. So, I will enjoy the remaining time looking for accommodation.

This royal capital is quite large if you look at its layout. The mix of nobles and commoners is visible. If converted into a circle, almost seventy percent contains ordinary people, the rest is a mixture of noble families or important figures who protect the kingdom.

What about Shirayuki's family?

To consider them part of the kingdom is the greatest insult. The Shirayuki family is a human resource that produces talented Battle Shrine Maidens every year. Officially, they are not a family but rather a training ground for shrine maidens to fight the Void. The unclear and secret family structure is a side story that fills the Mysterious Event of the Shirayuki family.

Just imagine, if there was a family capable of producing a Battle Shrine Maiden equivalent to three thousand trained troops to fight the Void. Isn't that very scary? However, in the story Miko Miko Blessing, the Shirayuki family experiences destruction and asks the heroine of this story to rebuild the Shirayuki family together with the main character.

I don't want this family to be destroyed.

The source of the problem hiding behind the darkness became my next goal. Finding the traitor who controls the Void to protect the Shirayuki family is not an easy matter. The answer to the destruction of the Shirayuki family is implied in the final trilogy about a girl who was rejected from taking shrine maiden training from the Shirayuki family and holds a big grudge due to that rejection. The story sounds like she was rejected when she signed up for an art class but ended up becoming a world villain.

Honestly, she is a girl who fits my type. Even though her character is very troublesome, if you get to know her better, she is sweeter than honey. Miko Miko Blessing is not a game with an easy-to-predict ending. Every relationship has its ending, for example, the main character falls in love with the villain. A bad ending for the heroine is a happy ending for the villain. Whether it's a heroine or a villain, I understand their problems from two different perspectives.
