[Lily's POV]
Hmmmm, where am I?
Artoria looked around—she was definitely lost, and that was bad.
"Damn it," Lily muttered.
But the only thing she could do was keep moving forward and find shelter, at least until Merlin found her.
With all her strength, Lily pressed on and eventually stumbled upon a structure covered in vines. She stepped inside.
Only one thought crossed her mind: This place is terrifying. But hey, at least it's a good place to take shelter.
She continued deeper into the temple until she spotted a strange man bound by chains.
"Dear Jesus, protect me," Lily murmured, fear creeping into her voice.
But as she took a closer look, she moved nearer to his face—he was definitely handsome.
Then, I spoke to him telepathically, and I was sure of it—this man was something demonic.
I offered him my soul, but he refused.
That convinced me—this man was greedy.
He wanted me to set him free. Of course, that would be foolish; he was chained up for a reason.
But if he could save Camelot, who cares?
I did as he asked, and the chains shattered. The man stood up.
He was incredibly handsome—dangerously so. Maybe that's why he was chained up. Honestly, if I had a husband like him, I'd chain him up too.
Oh my God, my face is heating up!
[Antares' POV]
What is wrong with this girl?
She blushed out of nowhere. What is she thinking? Ah, who cares.
Antares smacked Lily on the back of the head.
"Ah," Lily lowered her head.
Antares: Get yourself together.
Antares examined Lily, then covered her ear with his hand, adding magic to his voice before shouting:
"MERLIIIIIIN, YOU SON OF A BITCH, SHOW YOURSELF!"
A magical circle appeared in front of Antares, and from it, Merlin emerged.
"Who dared to insult me?! Show yourself!" he shouted.
Just as he turned his head, Antares hit him—much harder than he had hit Lily.
The result? Merlin was sent crashing into the ground, his head buried deep in the dirt. When he lifted his head and saw who was standing before him, his first reaction was shock. Then, he stood up.
Antares simply watched, while Lily barely moved—she had never seen Merlin like that before.
Merlin walked over to Lily, touched her forehead, and teleported instantly.
Antares only watched and barely reacted.
[Merlin's POV]
As always, I was flirting with the maids in the castle—after all, who wouldn't appreciate beauty?
Anyway, while I was enjoying myself, someone called out to me. It wasn't an ordinary call—it felt like an invitation sent directly to my soul. And what did I just hear?
The sender insulted me. I am definitely turning him into a woman.
Anyway, I teleported, and the first thing I saw was darkness, so I shouted.
Then, suddenly, pain exploded in my head, and I found myself buried in the ground.
For the first time, my foresight failed me. What's going on?
Then, I stood up and saw a presence next to Lily.
Yes, a presence—it was terrifying. Someone like me, who feels no emotion, actually experienced fear for the first time.
Of course, I grabbed Lily and teleported away. She was the priority.
But then, a red magic circle appeared, and that presence stepped out right in front of me.
Antares: You're bleeding too much, Merlin. You didn't even say hello.
At that moment, for the first time in my life, I was sure of one thing—
I was completely screwed.
"Shit," I muttered.
