Lu Jinsheng glanced down at her animated face, flushed with anger. A sinister smile slowly crept onto his dark and handsome face, followed by his chillingly indifferent voice, "Why stop calling me 'brother' now? It rolled off your tongue so smoothly just a moment ago."
As he uttered these words, his hand on her waist did not ease its grip, but instead continued to pull her towards him, his actions both domineering and brash.
Liang Shu couldn't be bothered to respond, only struggling incessantly, her dress and hair in varying degrees of disarray.
Yet Lu Jinsheng remained unmoved, his gaze upon her devoid of interest, as if observing a clown.
Finally, with no other choice, Liang Shu gritted her teeth and stared fiercely at him, "Lu Jinsheng, you are truly shameless."
"Oh..." He elongated his tone slightly, a faint hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. But his deep-set eyes remained void of amusement, still veiled by an icy chill.
"I still prefer hearing you call me 'brother,'" he casually added, completing his previous sentence.
At his words, Liang Shu snorted coldly, her attitude turning disdainful and indifferent. "I wouldn't dare climb the lofty threshold of your esteemed Lu family."
Something seemed to trigger Lu Jinsheng, prompting him to abruptly retract the hand placed on her waist. From the depths of his throat came a cold sneer, "It's good that you know."
She retreated several steps in succession, until her back pressed against the icy sink.
Her gaze was wary, yet filled with provocation, a stark contrast to her demeanor when she first encountered Lu Jinsheng. Liang Shu raised an eyebrow, "Would the noble Mr. Lu kindly step aside? I wish to leave."
Lu Jinsheng coldly stared at her. "Since when do the weak have the right to speak? Didn't I tell you never to let me see you again? Is this an invitation for death?"
Liang Shu clenched her fingers tightly, her chest rising and falling rapidly with each breath. But she paid no heed. To Lu Jinsheng, she was probably less than a dog raised in their Lu family.
Even if she were the last woman left in the world, Lu Jinsheng wouldn't spare her a second thought.
And indeed, as things stood, with a mere two meters separating them, Lu Jinsheng held the dominant position, looking down at her with superiority.
His gaze fell upon the blood-red birthmark beneath her right eye, then descended further. He barely registered her current disheveled state, his scorching gaze fixating directly on her slender left wrist.
Tonight, she wore no accessories, knowing she would have to return them later. It was less trouble not to wear them at all.
However, on her left wrist, she wore a ladies' watch—her own. It was a rather old-fashioned style, with the strap showing signs of wear, indicating its age.
Liang Shu thought Lu Jinsheng might have some interest in her watch. In the murky depths of his eyes, she silently withdrew her hand behind her back.
Just as she was about to speak, she saw Lu Jinsheng's mouth curve into a faintly cruel smile. With a single stride of his long legs, he approached her, simultaneously grabbing her hand and giving it a forceful tug.
The speed was so swift that Liang Shu felt her head spin. When she finally regained her senses, the sound of dripping water filled the restroom. Her hand was beneath the flowing water, surrounded by splashes, the chilly liquid coursing over her wrist, sending shivers down her spine.
Liang Shu tried to pull her hand back, but Lu Jinsheng firmly grasped her elbow, rendering her unable to break free.
"Lu Jinsheng, you're insane!"
Without a word, he fixed his gaze on the area being washed away by the flowing water. His other hand calmly and elegantly loosened his tie, seemingly feeling a sense of relief in his throat.
