* Long Chapter Alert!
[KIYOMI]
"Why the fuck are you here?" Kiyomi asked when they pulled back from the kiss. It was an intense kiss, one that held and conveyed so many emotions, but Kiyomi was not going to make assumptions this time.
The woman before her never did things for the sake of doing things, which got Kiyomi wondering if Sakura had come to her rescue or if she had just been passing by and decided to mess things up even more.
The Bogdan Lycans would be coming for Kiyomi even harder this time, because they would definitely want to avenge Thor flan. It was a no-brainer, which was how Kiyomi knew she only had one option left with them.
"That's a way to talk to your savior, petal?" Sakura was taken aback by Kiyomi's words like that wasn't what she had expected. Then again, for a powerful and highly intelligent queen, maybe she just didn't understand the basics, right?
"Savior?... Wow. You have some nerve coming here, don't you?" Kiyomi asked as she pushed Sakura away from her. She had loved the sparks that had busted between them with the kiss, but it all just felt unreal and like the greatest of her fantasies.
While a part of her wanted to believe that she was going to be safe henceforth, Kiyomi knew better. She had seen the chaos that woman had raged over the Lycan kingdom for years and years and that was also how she knew Sakura wasn't social.
She was just a plaything for Sakura, just another tool for her pleasures and one that she would dispose of once all of this was done. But how was to tell Kiyomi that this woman had been going nuts because of her for the past few months too?
How was she supposed to understand the madness when Sakura had left her and never showed up in a dispute every night?
"Well, you don't have to believe me," Sakura said as she grabbed the periwinkle petals Otaru had given her and thrust them in Kiyomi's hands, making the good doctor wonder what the fuck the psycho was playing at this time.
"You must have really been loved enough when you were a kid, yeah?" Kiyomi said, the rage and disappointment in her voice as she threw the flowers on the ground, not bothered by the fact that the pretty flowers were getting drenched in blood.
She didn't want anything to do with Sakura, because the woman had proven to be unreliable and selfish to her. It was just not something that Kiyomi wanted to deal with at this point in time.
She had a lot on her mind and she needed to be on her way to the Bogdans because from the book of things she couldn't even trust that Sakura would save Elif anymore. Oh, how she was angry and disappointed by how things had turned out.
"For someone who is the very reason her entire family was wiped out, you sure have an opinion. You look like shit as always, and I shouldn't even have had expectations. I hope to never see you," Sakura said angrily as she stared at Kiyomi one last time.
She could see her Erasthai's eyes slowly fill with tears and for a moment the Sakura wanted to wipe those tears away. She had taken her time to look pretty for Kiyomi and to come to apologize for staying away.
She had come back to Odanera because she wanted to reassure Kiyomi that no one would ever hurt her. But now that she was here with her erasthai, Sakura had a thousand and one regrets.
She hated herself for even bothering to care because this hadn't gone like she had wanted to. The beautiful dress she had had on was now stained with blood, and her erasthai hated her like never before.
This wasn't how she had hoped to see Kiyomi again, but damn was it a hard gut punch for her. How the fuck was she supposed to be open with Kiyomi when there was so much hate between the both of them?
Or maybe it was a good thing because, with the hate, there is no need for them to play games and pretend like life isn't full of shit and their bond wasn't cursed, right?
"I hate you," Kiyomi said shakily as her tears fell down her face. She had been hoping for comfort from the woman she had fallen in love with and yet she was met with a Lycan queen who never cared for anyone.
Perhaps she had been hoping that she would be the one to change the crazy Lycan queen and be the reason the psycho considered being humane to people, but now they want even a point in believing that.
She despised everything that linked her to Sakura and wished there was a way they could live worlds apart.
But then at the same time, their fates were always going to be entwined because right now the queen had angered the Bogdan Lycans, and while that didn't mean shit to Sakura, Kiyomi was at greater risk than even the first time.
"Join the long queue, Petal. And I hope you know these bastards will send more of their men to take you out, especially now that you were stupid enough to call me your erasthai in a fucking bar," Sakura said angrily as she wiped the tears off Kiyomi's cheeks.
She hated that Kiyomi was crying and she wanted to make her feel better, but then Sakura had never known emotions and she clearly didn't know what the fuck she needed to do.
She wanted to ask Otaru, and yet at the same time, she wasn't sure that it would all be worth the trouble. Perhaps it was okay if Kiyomi hated her because then there would be much between them, yeah?
Oh, but it was tempting as hell for Sakura and she hoped that the universe was watching this mess.
"You're cruel," Kiyomi voiced as she found herself leaning into Sakura's palms that seemed to be calling for her. She knew it wasn't what she needed to do and there was a chance that this was just as messy as everything, but deep down, Kiyomi missed Sakura.
She had yearned for the psycho's touch more than she would ever admit. Her mind had been filled with desire for the woman and even though she hated Sakura right now, Kiyomi couldn't deny the relief that filled her heart just from seeing this crazy queen.
"I know, my beautiful Petal. I know," Sakura said as she hugged Kiyomi one more time.
"You screwed me over, Saki. You took my chance at saving Elif and left me out to dry. I hate you for that," Kiyomi said as she stared at Sakura. Her life had been fucked up long before she even had come across the wolf queen and now, she had to deal with this too.
"I didn't fuck you over. If I hadn't shown up, you would be taken to the Bogdan Lycans and strung around to die like the rest of your family, you know that, right?" Sakura asked and Kiyomi let out a sad laugh like this was the funniest thing she ever heard.
"Makes no difference, you know," Kiyomi stated amid laughter, making Sakura stare at her curiously. Surely there wasn't a reason for her erasthai to be that unhinged with her laughter, right?
"What does that mean?"
"I'm surrendering myself to them after this. It's the only way to make sure Elif is safe. So, you can go on your savior trip to another place. You're not needed here with me," Kiyomi said and Sakura felt all the blood drain from her body.
There was just no way the woman she cared about was thinking of giving herself up to the other cray Lycans right? This just didn't make any sense to Sakura and she hated the thought of it, not to mention the possibility that Kiyomi was not bluffing.
But what if she was?
"What?" Sakura voiced as she stared into Kiyomi's eyes, like she was trying to find any proof of the woman bluffing. There wasn't any and Sakura wasn't sure if this was real or not. But then at the same time, she couldn't let it happen.
"You heard me. Now go back to your kingdom, your highness. This rogue is finally getting a befitting punishment for her sins, yeah?" Kiyomi said as she created a portal to get her out of the apartment block and to the Bogdan Lycans.
She was scared shitless of the possibilities, but she had to do this.
"I see you like to be chained as much, yeah?" Sakura said as she chained Kiyomi, instantly closing the portal before dragging Kiyomi back inside her apartment, something that Kiyomi Kimura wasn't exactly a fan of.
But then against Sakura Watanabe, would she ever be able to win this, whatever this was?
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Kiyomi asked as she tried to fight against the chains. The woman who was holding her this time was ten times worse than the Bogdan Lycans but Kiyomi couldn't help but feel safest whenever she was around Sakura.
Maybe it was all just in her head, and the woman was just the unhinged psycho bitch everyone knew her to be, right? Well, Sakura never said she was the queen of peace and the key advocate of world peace anyway, right?
"Me?... Nothing. I just figured you wanted to be chained so badly, so I put a new set of chains on you. Besides, if the Bogdan Lycans want you so badly, they already know where you are, but then the only thing is they'll have to go through me to get to you.
"It's going to be fun, my sweet Petal. Aren't you excited for it?" Sakura asked excitedly and Kiyomi sighed frustratedly.
