Not a Big Problem

The police hadn't completely surrounded the area, so it was easy to evacuate, but it was difficult to do so quietly without alerting any of the police.

Luckily, the police were cooperative and didn't really want to face the vicious newcomer, so this timely retreat was a two-way race to the top.

Familiar with the neighborhood, Vodka waited for Ichijō Mirai to reload all of his loot and chose a direction of evacuation that followed the police's slow trend of circling the area.

Ichijō Mirai followed.

He was only familiar with the neighborhood from save files, but did not know his way outside of it, and after exiting the neighborhood and getting into a black car, he took it upon himself to ask, "Where are we going?"

The Organization is special.

In the organization's style, Vodka, as a code name member, should have coldly told Ichijō Mirai, 'Don't ask questions you shouldn't ask, shut up from now on, and follow me honestly.'

In theory.

As with the implicit rule that all members of the code are equal, and that it's okay to lie to your buddies but not to yourself, it's all by the book.

Vodka bravely refused to divulge information to members of the lower levels of the organization, "I don't know."

He replied honestly, "Big brother only said that we should evacuate safely first, and after that I would send a message and report back, and he would give me the address of the destination."

So it's not that he wouldn't tell, it's that he really didn't know.

Ichijō Mirai: "Oh."

He's neither happy nor unhappy, and asks, "When is the psychiatrist coming?"

Gin didn't say when.

And it's 'psychiatrist', well...

"Uh," Vodka paused, "the psychiatrist."

He really knew it: the psychiatrist would never come.

The reason for this was simple: when the organization found out that the newcomer seemed to be a little out of sorts, as if he or she was excited about finally getting revenge, it was normal to have a psychiatrist come in to check on the newcomer's current state, and to help alleviate any psychological problems the newcomer might be having.

Just like a fever, some people choose to wait for a week without medication and fluids, while others choose to go to the hospital and wait for a week with medication and fluids.

A psychiatrist appointment is like going to the hospital when you're sick, it's a little more secure and reassuring.

But is the newcomer suffering from a cold or a fever? No, it's rabies.

It's 'rabies' that's 100% certain from the way he's behaving, and any uncertainty is disrespectful to Mr. Corpses, so there's no need to call a psychiatrist to check for mental problems.

"It won't be coming for a while," Vodka said the rest of the sentence, "but your injuries need to be tended."

"We're out, I'll check in with Big Brother first."

He sent Gin a random symbol on his cell phone's keypad, following the agreed-upon identification code, and couldn't help but peek at Ichijō Mirai in the rearview mirror.

Ichijō Mirai's blood level was still stable after his recent killing spree, but his body was covered in a variety of things, including red blood, gray dust, and white bits of brain...

His black tracksuit is already full of things that make humans fearful, and he can randomly get a few passersby who are scared and crawling on the ground to save their lives.

The wound on his abdomen has been replaced with a cleaner, more professional gauze, but it's still only wrapped around the outside of his clothes, not untied and bandaged directly, and it doesn't look like it's been treated with alcohol, iodine, or any other medication.

In addition, there are many new wounds on the body, one inch below the knee there is a slanting upward bullet hole, probably from a member of the organization of the dying counterattack, but the bullet only went through the edge of the pants, did not hit the bone.

There are also new injuries to the arms, shoulders, etc., either obvious or not.

The most notable new wound is on Ichijō Mirai's face.

There was a bullet wound on the left side of his face. It was not long, only two centimeters, and not deep, but it was obviously not treated. The coagulated blood made the wound more shocking, enough to give people a glimpse of the crisis at that time.

...And the tragic death of the member of the organization who not only refused to surrender but also dared to fight back.

As he watched, Vodka realized that Ichijō Mirai was frowning.

More than frowning, he suddenly raised his eyes, locked them with Vodka's in the rearview mirror, and, with serious solemnity, repeated Vodka's words, "The psychiatrist isn't coming?"

The displeasure was palpable.

"Where's the physical exam?"

Gin said that the psychologist is part of the physical examination process, and once the physical examination is completed, the onboarding procedures are completed and the task can be officially started.

If the psychiatrist doesn't show up, what about the physical exam?

It doesn't matter whether he joins or not. This organization is not a formal organization anyway. It's not like a regular job where you have to go through a physical examination before you start working. What's important is: "What's the mission?"

Ichijō Mirai looked at Vodka, skipped the question of "are there any missions?", and asked with a frown: "When are there any missions?"

He said briefly: "I want a mission."

Short, but unquestionable.

Vodka: "..."

This really isn't like a newcomer.

Having seen Ichijō Mirai transform into the god of death and happily knock on the door, so hard that even the police car dared not approach, he was not stubborn at all and was very flexible. He immediately responded: "Okay, may I ask you, ahem."

"May I ask you what type of mission you want?"

"What kind?" Ichijō Mirai was a bit surprised that Vodka was so good-tempered and talkative, so he looked at him a bit more, "Any."

"I'm a newcomer, you're a codename member, I take orders from you."

He thought for a moment and added, "And Gin's orders."

"If you have any orders, you can give them directly, I can carry out any task, even if you want to die, I can quickly help you to end yourself."

After expressing his attitude in a way that suited his newcomer status, Ichijō Mirai paused and politely made a small request, "If possible, can the mission be more urgent, preferably today, and can I get more money?"

Well, that's polite.

Vodka's cell phone vibrated and buzzed, signifying the shock of being polite.

He looked up at the rearview mirror, and saw Ichijō Mirai, who was overly modest and polite, but clearly saying, 'I'm lying to myself, brother, if you really believe it, you're asking for death.' He lowered his head again, looked at the address clearly written in black and white, and was speechless for a moment.

Of Ichijō Mirai's words and address, only one is true.

Rather than believing Ichijō Mirai's lies, it is better to believe that the member of the organization who was frightened and called the police was an undercover police agent.

But it was impossible to say that, and in the end, Vodka simply said, "I'll report your request to Big Brother."

"I will first take you to the temporary residence, where there are basic medicines, you can clean your wounds, if your wounds are not treated, I am afraid..."

It was the second time the wound was mentioned.

Ichijō Mirai looked down at himself, not really concerned, "It's fine."

He had taken painkillers, but they were still in effect, so he couldn't feel any pain in his body.

Not feeling pain is dangerous, but: "I'm not too dizzy and weak, blood loss is still under 1700ml, I can still hold out for a few more hours."

I'm not in a coma, so it's not a big problem.
