Things You Should Not See

Melchior examined the eye closer and more curiously after a second look of it.

It was a big white eyeball, the size of a football. It had pale yellow irises that dilated the closer he brought Stormrage to it. Eventually, tears even began to well up at the bottom.

"Interesting." He muttered, staring at the strange being.

Rather, it wasn't as strange as it looked. As soon as he grabbed it, he instinctively felt something from it.

"You're one of mine,"

That was right. It was a spirit. He let go of it, but still kept Stormrage ready at his side in case of anything.

But for the most part, he wasn't worried. A spirit meant that he could control it.

"Who's your master?" He asked.

The eyeball wobbled from side to side as if in protest, but it eventually leaned to one side predominantly.

It was as if it was fighting for control against something.

Mel followed it, all the while focusing on it, bringing out the details.
