Lecturing The Growing Up Boys (Part 1)

Wu Erlang turned back to Liang Hongyu and said, "When I get home, my mother will scold me. Can you speak on my behalf?"

"Sure," Liang Hongyu replied with a smile.

After Wu Erlang left, Huo Tianzhou turned around and saw that Liang Hongyu had already picked up her basket and was heading back into the house.

Whether it was because of her quick stride or something else, she suddenly appeared rather aloof.

Huo Tianzhou hesitated for a moment, standing in the courtyard, watching her figure cross the threshold and walk further inside.

Just as she was about to disappear from sight, he quickly followed.

He walked to the end of the corridor leading to the backyard and then stopped, hesitating as he looked at the person inside.

The entrance to the backyard led to a short covered walkway, a step higher than the front courtyard, with around a 1.7-meter-long stone slab piled on the left side.

Liang Hongyu took out the pheasant and tossed it to the ground, then walked over and sat on the stone slab.

She turned her face towards the doorway.

"Come here," she said to Huo Tianzhou.

Liang Hongyu's expression wasn't easy to read, and Huo Tianzhou hesitated as he walked over.

"If I hadn't stopped you just now, what were you planning to do?" Liang Hongyu asked sternly.

Huo Tianzhou's eyelids drooped for a moment as he hesitated, then he lifted his eyes and stared at her, refusing to admit to anything.

"If I hadn't stopped you and you rushed over to hit Huo Dagou, what do you think the consequences would have been?" Liang Hongyu questioned him again.

Even though he wasn't sure what Liang Hongyu was trying to do, Huo Tianzhou could now tell she was going to lecture him.

However, since she had already mentioned about the separation and he didn't need her to take care of him anymore, Liang Hongyu had no reason or obligation to lecture him.

Huo Tianzhou's thoughts were almost written on his face.

His dark eyes became slightly indifferent, nearly cold, as he stubbornly looked up at Liang Hongyu.

He was already quite handsome, but his pale complexion added to his sickly appearance.

If someone didn't look closely, it was hard to notice it, but when he stared straight at someone, there was an innate sharpness in his brows that hinted at unfulfilled potential.

Noticing this, Liang Hongyu couldn't help but chuckle internally.

"Hitting someone in front of so many people, wouldn't you be the one to suffer? I don't hold back with them because I can handle them. I'm not afraid of them," Liang Hongyu continued while shifting to a more comfortable sitting position on the stone slab.

Her eyes swept over Huo Tianzhou critically, "With your frail body, do you think you can win in a fight with them?"

Liang Hongyu was determined to teach him a lesson before she left, she wanted him to understand that recklessly confronting a stronger opponent would only lead to self-destruction.

He needed to think ahead and leave himself a way out instead of blindly jumping into traps set by others.
