Chapter 42 Inside the Greenhouse_1

Li Qing arrived home just as evening was approaching.

At this hour, he wouldn't have been able to do much work in the fields, and he didn't know what else to do.

After making a round at home, he went to Han Mei's place.

Li Qing called out as he lifted the curtain of the greenhouse and went inside.

An intense wave of heat hit him in the face.

In the summer, greenhouses are just like ovens.

Working inside, it didn't take long to become unbearable.

Those who hadn't done it before could hardly last even a few minutes.

"Qingzi, what brings you here?" came Han Mei's voice from amidst the lush tomato plants.
