"Oh." Qiao Xiguan glanced at the clock, it was already late, half-past ten.
"Pack up, let's go have lunch," Gu Zichen said.
"I don't have much to pack, I didn't bring much with me when I came," Qiao Xiguan said.
"Then let's eat."
The family of three sat in the restaurant.
Today was their last meal here, the next meal would be on the plane.
"Are we really going back?" the little monkey suddenly asked.
"Mhm."
"I really don't want to leave," the little monkey sighed.
Qiao Xiguan pursed her lips and glanced at Gu Zichen.
"We'll come out to play again when we have time," Gu Zichen said.
"Okay," the little monkey smiled, then suddenly added, "I really like living together with Mom and Dad like this, it makes me so happy."
"Me too."
That wasn't Qiao Xiguan who spoke.
It was Gu Zichen.
Qiao Xiguan stared straight at Gu Zichen.
Gu Zichen kept his head down, gracefully eating his steak.
Qiao Xiguan took a sip of her lemon tea, pursed her lips, and remained silent.
