Bill looked at Qinghe with a face like he was trying to fool a ghost, clearly not believing her claim that she saw nothing. Who was she kidding? It was the men's restroom, after all; it would not be strange if she had seen something. It would be stranger if she had seen nothing.
Qinghe was too lazy to keep defending herself. After all, everyone in the school thought the same, and one more wouldn't make a difference. She certainly couldn't explain herself to everyone she met.
