The living room was buzzing with laughter when they saw Xiangrui from the neighboring Kong family come over, "Grandpa Gu, I'm here to mooch a meal, am I welcome?"
Old Master Gu chuckled, "You've asked the wrong person there."
Lu Yiting looked up to see Xiangrui staring at her, "If you want to mooch, come over and help out. You can't expect to eat without lifting a finger, keep dreaming."
Xiangrui, grinning, found a place to wash his hands, and Lu Yiting handed him a small rolling pin, "You roll out the dumpling wrappers."
As everyone chatted and made dumplings, a few kids were engrossed in listening to stories.
Old Master Gu called a few of his sons, and had Lu Yixuan summon Lu Yichen to join them in the study.
Once the story ended, Luo Qiao let Stone take the younger ones out to play, preparing herself to join the dumpling-making crowd.
But she was stopped by her sister-in-law Wang Xiaoxin, "You just got married today, you should rest."
