Zhao Siyu nodded with understanding and followed Chu Nan into the elevator. He was about to press the button for the seventh floor when he realized that Chu Nan had already done so. Although he was somewhat puzzled, he stood aside without saying a word, quietly waiting for the elevator to ascend.

Upon reaching the seventh floor, Chu Nan took the lead out of the elevator, striding towards Lin Xuerou's ward. He could feel Zhao Siyu blending into the crowd behind him, quietly following, but he didn't care at all and pushed the door of the ward open without looking back as he walked in.

Watching Chu Nan head straight for a ward, Zhao Siyu immediately parted the crowd and hastened his steps to follow.

Standing at the door of that ward, Zhao Siyu sneakily peered through the small glass window on the door and just happened to see Chu Nan standing in front of the hospital bed.
