"The Educational Reform Act" had passed.
Leaving the Parliament Building, the Second Prince walked with his head held high, a proud smile on his face, whereas the Great Prince looked utterly furious.
The Great Prince knew he'd fallen into the Second Prince's trap, but was powerless to do anything about it. The act was passed by voting and had it cleared both the Lower Councilor House and the Cabinet, even the King had no power to stop it, the Cabinet and the King wouldn't have helped him anyway.
The Cabinet knew about the three princes' struggle for succession, and so did Rod IV... but what could knowing do?
Even if Rod IV gathered them and told them to stop competing, would they listen?
Some things were unstoppable right from the start.
Rod IV only hoped they wouldn't escalate to fratricide.
After the meeting, many councilors rushed to Kensington Palace, eager to see the Second Prince. The Second Prince didn't want to meet them, but had no choice.
