Dusk was approaching, and the sunset fell from the edge of the sky, darkening bit by bit.
Employees at Nine Downing Street wrapped up their work and started to trickle out, with fewer busy figures around.
In the office, David brought Marvin some hot tea, and seeing Marvin staring out the window and daydreaming, curiously asked, "Prime Minister, you've finished your work for today, would you like me to call for a carriage for you?"
"No...."
Marvin turned around, looked at David, and said, "You can leave work now, go home. You've done very well in this period."
David was taken aback, feeling there was more to Marvin's words, but held back his curiosity, set down the teacup, and left the office.
Just before leaving, the voice of Marvin came again: "Don't go out tonight."
Don't go out?
Why not go out?
David didn't know, but he understood that Marvin wouldn't remind him for no reason.
"Yes."
