At one point, Wayne's image in Nelson's mind drastically plummeted. If she wasn't mistaken, he was a scumbag.

Seeing her sister indifferent towards Wayne, Regina quickly defended her boss, saying sweetly, "I have my hands and feet, why should I take money from home? The boss said people must rely on themselves; money earned with one's own hands doesn't weigh on your conscience."

"But everything you eat, wear, and use is his," Nelson said somberly.

Indeed!

Regina cocked her head; her life was given by Wayne, she agreed, "You're right; I owe my boss too much."

"Wake up, that's not what I mean."

Seeing her words had the opposite effect, Nelson quickly interrupted Regina, whose expression had grown increasingly pious. She wondered what potion Wayne had fed her sister to turn a perfectly good sister into a fool.

She cleared her throat with a light cough, leaned in, and whispered softly, "What I mean is, your boss is a scumbag, a pervert, do you understand?"
