A random coder met an accidental death and was reborn in the world of Naruto, receiving minor assistance from a deity. In this new life as Ikki, he traverses the world, engaging in battles against formidable foes with his minimal chakra reserves and personal kenjutsu skills.

The initial chapters might seem slow and bad since they're just setting the stage, but keep reading, as the action and adventures of Ikki will soon pick up and become more engaging. 

The main character won't be overwhelmingly powerful from the beginning. In fact, he'll start with quite limited strength.

This world will diverge somewhat from the Naruto universe, as a much larger crisis looms over it, adding new dimensions and challenges to the familiar setting.

Naruto: Failed Knight

I was sitting in my office when Daikoku entered for the monthly report. I love to hear and sometimes see how the future generation is doing.

"I am fine hokage sama. thank you for asking."

"So how's new generation is doing?"

"They have already mastered one of the three basic jutsus, Kawarimi, in just one month."

"Ohh, is this somehow related to that game kids were playing other day. I came to academy and watched it."

"Yes sir, I also started implementing it for learning Kawarimi. There also another benefits like war like situation replication. Also in woods training, group fighting. I am still thinking how to implement them."

"Good, good, fun and learning, nice method you have found Daikoku."

"It would be good if i found that method sir, but its new student who suggested it."

I got shocked. This represents a new way of thinking. It might be good and bad for all kids. But till now its going good.

"Daikoku, from now on don't directly implement methods suggested by Ikki, first consult with your principal and than start implementing them."

Its nice idea Ikki suggested. And had good results because of it. But i don't want him to go to dark because of seeking power. I know his condition of low level of chakra. And that might lead him astray.

I brought out crystal ball and started finding his position.

Ehhh. 😱😱😱😱 What the fuck he is doing.

I can see him siting in middle of training ground blindfolded. And see another kid, via his looks Nara kid enjoying himself, throwing ball at him. And hitting squarely in the face many times. Is he Masochist.

"Anbu, go to training ground 10 and observe Ikki. And find out what he and his friend are doing. Don't come in contact with them. Just observe."

"Hokage sama, He told Chiakako to throw rubber balls at him, but I can't understand why. It ended after 10 min when i reached there, they scheduled it for every day for foreseeable future. After that he started training his body, and kenjutsu training."

"What the heck this kid doing? Every day go there and checkout what's he doing. And what's the purpose for it."

"Can i come in contact with them?"

"You can but not as a Anbu. Go as normal curious guy. Got it Shishui."

"Okay. Besides observing Ikki's training, you should attend to your other duties as an Anbu."

After nodding Shishui returned to his post.
