[MC POV]

The next day, after all the theory classes were done, Daikoku-sensei made an announcement.

Daikoku: "Ikki, Hinari, Chikako, Hokage-sama approves of you forming a team. It will be official after you graduate."

"Okay, that's good. We're going to the training ground." I said this like I wanted to end the conversation quickly. But I knew what was coming. The dreaded "But."

Daikoku: "I know you're intelligent, so you must have sensed the condition coming. Hokage-sama will send someone to test you. If you pass, you can be exempted from the practical part of the class."

"Thought so. Okay, bye, Sensei."

After everyone left, Daikoku-sensei sighed.

Daikoku: *[This will be the first time students are exempted from practical training. But keeping them in the academy practicals is just detrimental. Especially for Ikki—he's already good enough to be a Genin.]*

We reached Training Ground 10.

Chikako: "A test, huh? I hope no crazy person shows up. What a drag."

"Geh, Chikako, BAKA. Don't raise a flag."

?: "YOUTH!"

"Fucking hell."

Baka, Chikako, why did you have to raise the flag? Konoha's strongest person on the crazy list has arrived.

"Why do we have to face him?"

The said person approached us.

Might Guy: "Oh, you're the kids trying to drop out of academy practicals. I'll beat you and send you back to the academy."

Chikako: "The academy practicals are progressing slowly, and it's not helping us train. So we came here for training."

Might Guy: [Crying] "So you came here to train yourself. This is YOUTH! Self-improvement is YOUTH! You should look ahead and enjoy YOUTH!" He was crying on his knees now.

Chikako: [Silently] "How can someone say 'youth' this many times in one sentence?"

[Silently] "You raised the flag, Baka. If there is a lottery for craziest, you drew the craziest one."

Hinari: [Silently] "This is your fault, Chikako."

Chikako: [Silently] "How is this my fault?"

Me, Hinari: "This is your fault." We both looked at Might Guy.

"Anno, Jonin-san. What's your name?"

Might Guy: "I am Konoha's mightiest Green Beast, Might Guy!"

"Okay, my name is Ikki. This is Chikako Nara, and Hyuga Hinari."

All: "Nice to meet you."

Might Guy: "Nice to meet you."

"So how will the test go?"

Might Guy: "I will fight you one-on-one and check your Taijutsu level."

"Okay. Hinari, you first."

Might Guy: [Pointing at me] "I take it you're the leader."

"Ahh, one second." [Turning to Chikako and Hinari] "Do you agree?" [They both nodded. I turned to Guy-san.] "Yes, I am."

Might Guy: *[He's already got the acknowledgment of these two kids. He also has charisma.]*

Might Guy: "Okay, girl, you're fighting first, right? Come at me."

And that's how our team's trial began.

Initially, Might Guy let Hinari hit him with everything she had. But soon, he started testing her defense. Every punch she threw was countered. But her strength was already at the limit of nearing Genin level. Soon, it reached Genin level, and Hinari's defense faltered. The same scenario occurred as in her last fight.

Next was Chikako's turn.

"Chikako, your turn. Go all out. You can use Blade Steal and Kenbunshoku no Haki."

Chikako: "This will be interesting."

Chikako and Guy-san stood opposite each other.

"Start!"

Chikako took a fighting stance and charged at Guy-san. Chikako isn't particularly strong in Taijutsu, which showed in his initial offense. No Nara is really known for Taijutsu. But when the initial offense ended, the defense began. Chikako knew it was coming, so he started dodging, blocking, and parrying the attacks.

Might Guy: *[His attacks are like those of a normal child, but his dodging, blocking, and parrying are already high-class. Anyway, the Nara clan doesn't rely on Taijutsu; they mostly rely on their clan jutsus.]*

After 3 minutes,

Might Guy: *[How is he still fighting? I've already increased my power to Genin level, but he's adapting to this speed and power. His offense is weak, but his defense is solid.]*

"Okay, end it. Guy-san, you won't be able to break his defense unless you go above Genin level."

Might Guy nodded in agreement.

"Next would be me."

I stood up against Might Guy. This would be the first time I fully utilize my Taijutsu strength.

Might Guy: "Let's go."

And the fight began.
