It was a pitch-black female stone statue, standing three to four meters tall, exuding an eerie aura.
The lower half was clearly that of an elf woman, her right hand raised, adorned with various silver rings. Just by looking at this part, one would know without asking, that this was a statue of the Undying Goddess of Vengeance, Chiaranlisha.
But where the neck and head should have been, instead of a Dwarves Elf's head, there was a huge, slightly deformed fish head, identical to those of the Koutao Fishmen. In both carving style and proportions, there was a severe dissonance, clearly indicating that they were not crafted by the same artisan. Yet, the joint was seamless, as if the statue was naturally meant to be this way.
This wasn't the work of the Stone Shaping Spell, but rather of belief.
Seeing this statue, all of Gaven's previous doubts were resolved, and he even managed to derive many conjectures from it.
