Pregnancy pulse?
As soon as Ye Feng's words left his mouth, a small commotion erupted in the room, and many people looked at Wang Tianhong with odd expressions.
The so-called "pregnancy pulse" refers to the pulse that indicates a woman is pregnant.
There is such a medical case recorded in Huaxia's extraordinary acupuncture book, "The Bronze Man Acupoint Moxibustion Atlas":
In the Song Dynasty, a crown prince who considered himself unmatched in medical skill encountered a pregnant woman while out on a leisurely excursion.
After taking her pulse, the crown prince declared that the woman was carrying a girl, whereas the imperial physician Xu Wenbo believed there was both a boy and a girl.
The crown prince, not believing Xu Wenbo's words, wanted to cut open the pregnant woman's belly to check the gender of the baby.
Unable to prevent this, and to save the woman's life, Xu Wenbo reluctantly used acupuncture to stimulate the woman's Sanyinjiao Acupoint.
